The UCSF Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery Fellowship offers comprehensive training in all aspects of pediatric orthopaedics, preparing fellows to provide exceptional care to pediatric patients. Through rotations at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals in Oakland and San Francisco—both major referral centers for Northern and Central California—fellows gain experience in pediatric trauma, spinal deformities, sports injuries, and limb and hip deformities. The fellowship emphasizes clinical and technical competence through an adult-learning model, ensuring fellows are well-prepared for both academic careers and private practice. The program also offers unique opportunities for global health experiences and access to UCSF’s extensive research and teaching infrastructure.
