The UCSF Bone Health Service provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary care to support bone health across the lifespan. The service brings together specialists in orthopedic surgery, endocrinology, rheumatology, nephrology, radiology, physical therapy, and nutrition.

Our team helps patients diagnose conditions early and manage osteoporosis and other metabolic bone disorders with evidence-based, collaborative treatment plans to optimize bone health, prevent bone loss, and reduce fracture risk.

• Comprehensive metabolic bone evaluations
• Osteoporosis diagnosis and management counseling

• Bone-density testing coordination (DXA and other modalities)
