About Kiauntee Murray, MD

Dr. Kiauntee Murray, MD, is an orthopaedic surgeon specialized in treating oncologic conditions in children and adults.  Her clinical practice provides specialized care for patients with benign and malignant bone and soft tissue tumors as well as metastatic disease.

Dr. Murray's extensive training and experience enable her to offer comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment options tailored to the unique needs of her patients. Whether it's surgical decision-making or complex limb salvage operations, Dr. Murray's commitment to delivering the highest quality of care is evident in her clinical practice.

In research, Dr. Murray's focus has been in musculoskeletal oncology. In addition, she is engaged in various volunteer and leadership roles, including mentoring, community service, and involvement in medical associations.

Dr. Murray earned her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from Brown University. She then earned her medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, where she also completed her residency at the Rutgers Orthopaedic Residency Program. Following residency, Dr. Murray completed her Fellowship at the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Oncology Fellowship Program as well as the Boston Children's Hospital Orthopaedic Clinical Research Fellowship Program. Outside of clinic, Dr. Murray has a passion for reading, traveling, exploring languages, and horseback riding.

Dr. Murray will see patients at both UCSF Mission Bay Hospital and the Veterans Administration Hospital in San Francisco.
