About Nicolette Chamberlain-Simon

Nicolette Chamberlain-Simon is a certified prosthetist-orthotist and specialist in orthopedic surgery at UCSF Mission Bay. She provides expert care as a pediatric orthotist, addressing outpatient, inpatient, and same-day clinic orthotic needs. Nicolette’s extensive experience spans various prosthetic and orthotic settings, including rehabilitation hospitals, private clinics, and mobile care environments.

Nicolette earned her master’s degree in prosthetics and orthotics from Northwestern University in 2020 and her Bachelor of Science in bioengineering from Rice University in 2016. Her professional interests include 3D printing, materials science, knowledge translation, and lower limb biomechanics.

In addition to her clinical work, Nicolette serves as the director of O&P IQ, an orthotics and prosthetics research database for members of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists.
