Register for UCSF Adaptive Rock Climbing Clinic Clinic set for Jan. 18

SAN FRANCISCO (Jan. 6, 2025) – The UCSF Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, the Division of Orthotics and Prosthetics, and Movement Gym San Francisco are hosting the fifth annual UCSF Adaptive Rock Climbing Clinic on Saturday, Jan. 18, in the Presidio. This event provides an inclusive environment for climbers of all abilities to explore and challenge themselves.

The clinic is open to individuals ages 5 and older. Climbers of all adaptive levels, abilities, and experiences are encouraged to participate. The Challenged Athletes Foundation, V12 Resole, and Paraclimb Hangers will also be in attendance to support participants.

Event Details:
Date: Saturday, Jan. 18
Check-In: 11 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
Climbing Session: Noon – 3 p.m.
Location: Movement Gym San Francisco, 924 Old Mason St, San Francisco, CA 94129
Equipment Rentals: Included for all registered participants

Important Notes for Parents, Family, and Friends:
• Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
• Family members and friends are welcome to register and should indicate the participant they are supporting in the "special accommodations" section.
• While all are encouraged to cheer and participate, adaptive climbers will have priority access to the climbing walls.
