About Heidi Truman
Heidi is an ABC certified Orthotist/Prosthetist, specializing in pediatrics. She currently provides out-patient and in-patient care at UCSF Mission Bay Hospital and Benioff Childrens Hospital-San Francisco.
Heidi is chair of the UCSF O&P Education Committee and serves as the UCSF O&P Residency Director. She has presented nationally on residency considerations and pediatric cases.
Her clinical approach includes collaboration with the patient's care team, with a focus on the family. Providing optimal care for children is a professional privilege and a personal challenge.
