San Francisco, CA (June 26, 2024) – The UCSF Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is thrilled to announce the annual UCSF Sarcoma Strong 5K Run + Walk, a pivotal event dedicated to raising awareness and funds for sarcoma care. This year's event will take place on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Mariposa Park, conveniently located at the intersection of Mariposa Street and Owens Street, directly across from UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital. Our UCSF team is proud to support the national Sarcoma Strong program, which focuses on increasing awareness and funding for the treatment of sarcoma, a type of cancer that affects soft tissue and bones.

Parking: Street parking is available around the hospital, and there is a pay lot in front of the hospital.

Virtual Participation: Can't join us in person? No problem! Participate in our virtual 5K team from August 9 to 18, 2024, and join others from across the U.S. in raising funds to combat sarcoma.
All participants will receive a UCSF Sarcoma Strong T-shirt, with sizes ranging from adult S-2XL and youth.
