San Francisco (Aug. 29, 2025) – Registration is now open for the 20th Annual UCSF Sports Medicine Conference, Dec. 4-6, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco.
This three-day, head-to-toe course offers two tracks: one for primary care providers and another for athletic trainers and physical therapists. Attendees will learn to conduct efficient musculoskeletal exams, diagnose common injuries, apply the latest concepts in sports nutrition, and design evidence-based treatment protocols for common sports medicine conditions.
Large-group sessions will cover sports concussion management, orthobiologics, non-biologic injections, sports nutrition, running medicine, joint injections, splinting and bracing, and joint replacement.
Small-group workshops will allow learners to choose from many topics including hands-on sessions in essential and advanced exam techniques, sideline concussion evaluation, and assessing readiness to return to play post injury.
Course chairs are Daniel Keller, DPT; Elly LaRoque, MD; and Carlin Senter, MD. The conference is approved for up to 17.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ and continuing education for physical therapists and athletic trainers.
