Department welcomes Kudret Usmani, MD, Assistant Professor, Arthroplasty and Trauma

The UCSF Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and the Orthopaedic Trauma Institute are pleased to welcome Kudret Usmani, MD, to our faculty as an assistant professor.
 

About Dr. Kudret Usmani
Dr. Kudret Usmani, MD is a Hip & Knee Reconstructive surgeon based at the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Washington Hospital Healthcare System, Fremont, specializing in trauma and reconstructive arthroplasty.

Dr. Usmani received her medical degree from Cooper Medical School of Rowan University and her Bachelors in Chemistry and Psychology from Carnegie Mellon University. Residency at Cooper University Hospital. Fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma at Grady Hospital with Emory University in Atlanta, GA. Fellowship in Reconstructive Arthroplasty at UPMC Magee-Women's Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Throughout her education and training, she has received multiple awards for academic excellence and scholarships.

Dr. Usmani's extensive training and experience will enable her to offer comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment options tailored to the individual needs of her patients.  

She also speaks multiple languages, including Urdu, Spanish, and Hindi which will benefit her patients, colleagues, and community partners.
