Grand Rounds
The UCSF Department of Orthopaedic Surgery Grand Rounds are ongoing forums where we discuss new developments in orthopaedics and provide information that will enhance physicians’ clinical skills and ability to diagnose and treat patients. Topics include surgical skills, healthcare policy, education of residents, basic science and biomechanics. Senior residents present their orthopaedic research in this forum as well, often highlighting the excellent research performed by the residents and faculty of the program. New faculty members, as well as leaders in the field of orthopaedics locally, also present.
Weekly presentations are held Wednesdays at 7:30 a.m. at UCSF, usually in N-225 in the nursing building. The Grand Rounds Program is one of the highlights of the resident, fellow, and faculty teaching program, and is open to anyone interested in the field of orthopaedics.
