Under San Francisco's current health order, all medical services, including routine and preventive care, are considered essential. Please contact us to make a telehealth visit or an in-person visit. For in-person appointments, all clinical staff – doctors, physician assistants, clinical personnel -- will be wearing both face masks as well as eye shields or face shields for our patients' safety.
Service Line Update: Skeletal Health
The UCSF Skeletal Health Service remains committed to continue providing appropriate care to those dealing with bone health concerns during this pandemic. We recognize how difficult it is for you to not get the usual care you expect and deserve, and we will do our utmost to work within our constraints to help you through this process.
Please coordinate all of these with our Practice Coordinator at 415-353-4983.
Please know that some processes may be delayed during this window but we are all working with you to continue to optimize your bone health and prevent fractures.
Given the fluid nature of this pandemic, we cannot yet comment on what this will mean after this date, but we promise to be transparent and forthright with you, and do our best to fulfill all Clinic visits in an expedient manner.
