About Muayad Kadhim MD
Dr. Muayad Kadhim is a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery fellow with a strong commitment to the care of children confronting a range of orthopaedic difficulties. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine from Damascus University School of Medicine prior to completing an orthopedic residency at Damascus Hospital in Syria. Having developed a deep interest in pediatric orthopaedics early in his training, Dr. Kadhim dedicated several years to clinical research in this specialty before completing clinical fellowship trainings in Pediatric Orthopaedics (Louisiana State University Children’s Hospital, New Orleans), Limb Deformity Correction & Reconstruction (Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, MD), and Hand & Upper Extremity Surgery (University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, PA). Dr. Kadhim joined the pediatric orthopaedic fellowship at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital with the aim of further deepening his skills in the treatment of spinal deformities, adolescent hip dysplasia and limb deformity.
