About Joseph Sliepka, MD
Joey grew up in Houston, TX with two younger brothers. His hobbies as a child included playing the piano and baseball. He completed his undergraduate studies at Harvard University where he pitched on the baseball team and earned his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency at the University of Washington, where he met his wife Maggie, an Emergency Medicine resident physician at that time and current UW Critical Care fellow. They hope to settle in Seattle after fellowship. In his free time, Joey enjoys playing pickup softball, learning how to play Elton John songs on the piano, hiking, and jumping into large bodies of water.
