About Lindsay Orbeta, MS, RD
Lindsay Orbeta is a highly skilled sports dietitian specializing in performance nutrition, optimizing body composition, metabolic health, pre-surgical nutrition optimization, and post-surgery recovery. With double Master of Science degrees in Exercise Physiology and Sports Nutrition, Lindsay has a robust background in exercise testing, DXA/bone density, and body composition research. She is also a co-author of a research paper on the applications of the ketogenic diet in endurance sports.
Lindsay practices at the Orthopaedics Institute, Mission Bay, where she focuses on helping patients achieve their health and performance goals through personalized nutrition strategies. An avid surfer at Ocean Beach and Linda Mar, Lindsay also enjoys weight training and trail running.
"I believe that cooking healthy meals for yourself is the highest form of self-respect," says Lindsay, emphasizing her philosophy of care.
In addition to her professional expertise, Lindsay has a personal connection to her practice. She underwent ACL surgery a year ago and successfully applied her own nutrition practices to aid in her recovery.
