SAN FRANCISCO (May 12, 2025) — The UCSF Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and the Orthopaedic Trauma Institute are pleased to announce the appointment of Madeline MacKechnie, PhD, MA,, as an Assistant Adjunct Professor.
Dr. MacKechnie earned a doctorate in medical sciences from Erasmus University. She also holds a bachelor's degree in international development studies from York University and a master's degree in global development studies, with a focus on health equity, from Queen’s University.
Dr. MacKechnie joined UCSF in 2016 to support the department’s international academic outreach initiative, the Institute for Global Orthopaedics and Traumatology (IGOT).
