UCSF Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is pleased to annouce the opening of a new hand, elbow and upper extremity at its Marin county clinic in Mill Valley, Calif.
The Marin clinic will be helmed by Dr. Igor Immerman, MD.
Treating all conditions of the upper extremity, from the simple to the complex, Dr. Immerman’s philosophy of care is that each patient should be treated as a unique person and not by a cookie-cutter, protocol-only approach. He spends time getting to know each patient, and works with the patient to choose the right treatment, whether surgical or nonsurgical, that is best for a patient’s specific situation.
Dr. Immerman works collaboratively with Dr. Scott Hansen, Dr. Lisa Lattanza, Dr. Nicolas Lee, Dr. Mathias Masem, and Dr. Nicole Schroeder in the UCSF Hand, Elbow and Upper Extremity Center, which has earned international acclaim due to its multidisciplinary approach to restoring and preserving hand, elbow and upper extremity function in both adults and children.
