About Timothy Reed, MD

Dr. Timothy Reed earned his Doctor of Medicine, graduating with Distinction in Research, from the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell in 2021. He completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at Huntington Hospital, part of the Northwell Health system. Dr. Reed's research interests center on orthopaedic surgery, with particular emphasis on cartilage repair and regeneration, spine surgery, musculoskeletal tissue engineering, and surgical outcomes research. His scholarly work includes investigations into stem cell differentiation, cartilage allografts, osteomyelitis imaging, degenerative cervical myelopathy, lumbar disc arthroplasty, and spinal surgery techniques and outcomes, reflecting a strong commitment to advancing both basic science and clinical research in orthopaedics.
