About Nicole Henry-Wild, CPO
Nicole Henry-Wild is a Certified Prosthetist and Orthotist (CPO) at the ZSFG Orthotics and Prosthetics Center. They received a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Physiology and Anatomy at California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo. They then went on to receive a Master of Science in Orthotics and Prosthetics at California State University, Dominguez Hills.
They completed her orthotics residency at UCSF and her prosthetics residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC). While at UMMC, they received a First Place Research Award in the category of Outstanding Clinical Diagnostics for her presentation on “Effectiveness of educational in-service on provider confidence and patient care regarding spinal orthoses.”
Nicole provides a broad range of Orthotics and Prosthetics services for both pediatric and adult populations with a particular interest in upper extremity prosthetics. They lead the Orthotics and Prosthetics services at Laguna Honda Hospital and are the Orthotic Mentor for Orthotic Residents who rotate through ZSFG. They are very passionate about patient centered care. This includes involving patients in decision-making and tailoring orthotic and prosthetic treatment to meet the unique values and preferences of each patient.
