About Andrew Chang
Andrew Chang is a BOC-certified athletic trainer at UCSF, primarily working at UCSF Mount Zion, the UCSF Orthopaedic Institute, and the UCSF Mt. Zion campus. He specializes in orthotic solutions and serves patients across a broad spectrum of needs.
Chang graduated from California State University, Long Beach, in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in athletic training, and from the University of South Florida in 2020 with a Master of Science in advanced athletic training, with an emphasis on pediatric sports medicine. Prior to joining the Department of Orthotics and Prosthetics at UCSF in 2024, he worked in Division I and professional sports, providing orthopedic evaluations, acute injury management, return-to-play rehabilitation protocols, and injury management as a certified athletic trainer.
