Andy Campbell is a dedicated professional in orthotics and prosthetics, committed to delivering exceptional care and advancing knowledge in the discipline. With a diverse background and extensive clinical experience, he has developed a specialized focus on lower limb prosthetic devices.

At UCSF's Orthopedic Institute in Mission Bay and the UCSF Redwood Shores Specialty Care Clinic, Campbell provides expert prosthetic care, specializing in transtibial and transfemoral amputations. He collaborates closely with patients and their families to ensure personalized treatment plans that address individual needs and goals. His clinical approach emphasizes interdisciplinary teamwork and evidence-based practices to achieve optimal outcomes for every patient.

Campbell sees a wide range of prosthetic patients with varying degrees of amputation resulting from accidents, vascular disease, and cancer. Throughout his career, he has fit over 3,000 limbs to prosthetic patients, accumulating invaluable clinical experience along the way. He prides himself on his artistic, individualized approach, treating each patient as a unique individual with distinct challenges and needs.

His journey in orthotics and prosthetics began during his undergraduate studies in biological illustration and design at San Francisco State University. He furthered his education by obtaining prosthetic certification at California State University, Dominguez Hills, before becoming certified in prosthetics through the American Board of Certification (ABC).

As an ABC-certified prosthetist, Campbell upholds the highest standards of competence and professionalism in his practice, reflecting his dedication to quality and ethics in patient care.
