SAN FRANCISCO (June 1, 2026) - Interested in advanced training in interventional spine and musculoskeletal medicine? Watch the video above to learn about the UCSF Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine Fellowship, a one-year program recognized by the North American Spine Society (NASS).

Led by  Dr. Lyndly Tamura and Dr. Paolo Mimbella, the fellowship offers comprehensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of spine and musculoskeletal disorders, including fluoroscopic-guided injections, radiofrequency ablation, musculoskeletal ultrasound, EMG/NCS, and other advanced interventional procedures.

Fellows work alongside multidisciplinary faculty and gain extensive clinical, procedural, research, and academic experience while caring for patients across a broad spectrum of spine and musculoskeletal conditions.
