UCSF Sports Medicine provides medical coverage for USGA’s 125th United States Amateur Championship
SAN FRANCISCO (August 22, 2025) — From August 9, 2025, through August 17, 2025, sports medicine physicians, fellows, and athletic trainers had the honor of providing medical coverage to golfers, staff, and attendees at the 125th United States Amateur Championship at the Olympic Club in San Francisco.
This championship is the oldest USGA championship, established in 1895. The Olympic Club has its own history as the oldest athletic club in the United States, established in 1860. The Olympic Club has now hosted twelve USGA championships, including the Women’s Open in 2021, where UCSF Sports Medicine also provided medical coverage.
