SAN FRANCISCO (July 19, 2025)— The UCSF Spine Center is pleased to announce the return of its 14th annual Techniques in Complex Spine Surgery Course, taking place Nov. 7–8, 2025, at the Vdara Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Now in its latest iteration, the three-day program will offer an in-depth look at the latest surgical techniques and emerging trends in the treatment of spinal deformities and tumors. Designed for orthopaedic and neurological spine surgeons, as well as clinical teams and trainees, the course combines didactic lectures, expert case discussions and hands-on training in a bioskills lab.
Attendees will also take part in the annual Four University (4Us) Spine Symposium, which fosters international collaboration among leading spine surgeons from the United States, South Korea, China and Japan.
Target Audience:
The course is ideal for orthopaedic and neurosurgeons, surgical trainees and their clinical teams who specialize in or support spine surgery.
Course Objectives:
Participants will gain the tools to:

Apply advanced surgical techniques including osteotomies, interbody fusion and spinal reconstruction procedures;

Evaluate and manage spinal pain and deformity using evidence-based, cost-effective strategies;

Recognize perioperative risk factors and improve decision-making in complex cases.
