SAN FRANCISCO (June 26, 2026) — Patients, survivors, families, caregivers, clinicians, researchers and community members will gather Sunday, Aug. 23, for UCSF Sarcoma Strong 2026, an annual 5K/1K Run & Walk supporting sarcoma research, advocacy and patient care. This event is supported by the UCSF Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.
The event celebrates the resilience of the sarcoma community while raising critical funds to advance research. New this year, attendees will have the opportunity to visit a Memory Wall honoring those lost to sarcoma. Resources for patients and survivors also will be available, including information on survivorship, physical therapy, rehabilitation, nutrition, clinical trials and supportive care.
