SAN FRANCISCO (June 23, 2023) -- The UCSF Department of Orthopaedic Surgery invites you to join us on Sunday, Aug. 13, 2023 at 10 a.m. at UCSF Mission Bay campus for Sarcoma Strong 5k Run + Walk, a nationwide event to raise awareness and funding for the care and treatment of sarcoma (soft tissue and bone cancers). Walkers and runners of all ages and levels are welcome.

- All participants with receive a UCSF Sarcoma Strong T-shirt
Where: The UCSF Sarcoma Strong 5K team will meet in front of UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital at Mission Bay (1975 4th St, 94158) The 5K will start and end here. Brunch to follow.
When: Participants will meet at 10 AM to check in and receive event t-shirts; the run/walk will start at 10:30 AM.
Parking: Street parking is available around the hospital; there is also a pay lot in front of the hospital.
Can't make it in-person, no problem!
For anyone unable to participate in-person, please join our virtual 5K team from Aug. 11-13, 2023. The UCSF team will be joining teams from across the U.S. to raise funds to fight sarcoma.
