San Francisco(June 21, 2024) -- Showcasing our commitment to advancing pediatric orthopaedic care, the UCSF Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is proud to host the 2024 Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction Society (LLRS) Traveling Fellows at the Orthopaedic Institute in San Francisco today.
The Department's Center for Pediatric Limb Lengthening and Complex Reconstruction had the pleasure of welcoming these distinguished experts:
* Dr. Gourav Jandia, a pediatric orthopaedist from the Sitaram Bhartia Institute of Science and Research, a multi-specialty hospital located in New Delhi’s Qutab Institutional Area, who shared his extensive experience in treating children with musculoskeletal issues.
*Dr. Heather M. Kong, a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon, who shared her experiences working with pediatric patients at Shriners Children's Portland in Oregon.
The Department is grateful for the opportunity to host these distinguished leaders of pediatric limb lengthening and reconstruction, who will be traveling throughout the U.S. this month.
