Sarcoma Strong 5K Run + Walk 2025

Together, we can make a lasting impact in the fight against sarcoma.

SC 2024

The UCSF Department of Orthopaedic Surgery proudly hosted the UCSF Sarcoma Strong 5K Run + Walk 2025 on Sunday, August 24, 2025.  Runners, walkers, friends, and family members came together for this impactful event dedicated to raising awareness and funds for sarcoma care.

We’re excited to announce that this year’s event will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Mariposa Park, conveniently located at the intersection of Mariposa Street and Owens Street—just across from UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital in San Francisco.

Our UCSF team is honored to be part of the national Sarcoma Strong initiative, a movement committed to increasing awareness and funding for the treatment of sarcoma—a rare cancer that affects soft tissues and bones.
