Student Women's Ongoing Program: Perry Initiative


Perry Initiative Medical Student Outreach Program

The Perry Initiative inspires women to be leaders in Orthopaedic Surgery and Engineering by partnering with medical schools and universities nationwide.

Free events throughout the year includes case studies, hands-on mock orthopaedic surgeries, a guide to residency, and mentorship from prominent women surgeons. Participants must gender-identify as women or nonbinary
and currently be in medical school (MD or DO).

 
The Perry Initiative is committed to inspiring young women to be leaders in the fields of Orthopaedic Surgery and Engineering by sponsoring hands-on outreach programs across the country for high school women.
