About Vibhu Banala, MD

Dr. Vibhu Banala is an adult reconstruction fellow dedicated to advancing joint replacement care through precision, innovation, and patient-centered outcomes. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University, where he built a strong foundation in clinical and surgical training. 

Dr. Banala completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Montefiore Medical Center, gaining extensive experience in the management of complex orthopedic conditions in a high-volume, urban setting. His clinical interests include primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty, with a focus on leveraging technology and evidence-based protocols to enhance recovery and long-term outcomes. He is particularly interested in pursuing research in implant design and emerging technologies in arthroplasty, aiming to improve both surgical precision and implant longevity. Dr. Banala is committed to advancing the field of adult reconstruction through collaboration and excellence in surgical care.
