About Shiyi Lan, PharmD
I am a member of the UC Berkeley/UCSF Master of Translational Medicine (MTM) student team, working with Dr. Chelsea Bahney as the Regulatory Lead on the Nexocura project. With a background in pharmacy and clinical research, I focus on shaping the regulatory strategy, planning preclinical safety studies, and designing early-phase clinical trials to advance Nexocura’s RNA-based therapeutic for fracture healing toward first-in-human studies. My role also involves collaborating with clinicians, key opinion leaders, and patients to incorporate real-world insights into trial design, while contributing to the business strategy by developing a funding pipeline and identifying future partnership opportunities.
