Driving directions, parking

• From Highway 680:

  1. Take the Ygnacio Valley Road / Shadelands Drive exit.

  2. Head east on Ygnacio Valley Road (if coming from the south) or west (if coming from the north).

  3. Turn onto Shadelands Drive.

  4. Follow signs for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital.  

  5. Free parking is available on-site.

Public transportation

• Take BART to Walnut Creek Station.

• From the station, you can take a short taxi, rideshare (Uber/Lyft), or local bus:

  • County Connection Bus #4 or #5 stops near Shadelands Drive.

  • The hospital is about a 5–10 minute ride from the station

• Walking is about 1.5 miles from Walnut Creek BART (~30 minutes).  Exit the station, head east on North Main Street, then turn right onto Shadelands Drive until you reach the hospital.
