  • The University of Maryland Department of Orthopaedics is actively involved in international collaborations in Uganda and Haiti.

Our projects

Uganda

  • The University of Maryland partners with the University of British Columbia and McMaster University in the Uganda Sustainable Trauma Orthopaedic Program. USTOP aims to reduce the burden of neglected orthopaedic trauma through teaching, clinical care, research, and advocacy.

  • The University of Maryland partners with the Caris Foundation, Project Sante, and Broken Earth to provide trauma training and support research that will reduce trauma-related morbidity and mortality.
