Avilash Das, MD

Dr. Avilash Das is an orthopedic adult reconstruction fellow at the University of California, San Francisco. He earned his undergraduate degree from Boston University before completing his medical degree at the Boston University School of Medicine. He went on to finish his orthopedic surgery residency at George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Das has a strong interest in academic medicine, with a particular focus on medical student and resident education. He is passionate about mentoring the next generation of trainees, refining surgical education curricula, and integrating hands-on teaching into clinical practice. Outside the operating room, he enjoys traveling and cooking.
